  Having lived in Riverdale, formerly Greek Town, in Toronto for 30 years we are very familiar with greek food. Corfu did not disappoint for lunch this past Friday and lived up to the reviews we read on Google. The atmosphere is down-home local...wait staff very friendly and efficient. A shared appetizer of calamari rivaled Joso's in Toronto and outdid anything we have had on the Danforth. A shared trio of dips were obviously homemade and equally delicious. My husband had the Mousakka and commented the bechamel was the best he'd every tasted...just the right hint of nutmeg. My son and I enjoyed the lunch version of their souvlaki that was enough for a dinner portion, everything cooked to perfection. As we pass through Cobourg frequently on trips back to Toronto we will make a point of making Corfu a regular stop.

  This place is truly a gem. We always get the calamari. Crisp and fresh. The fresh peppers that they add as a garnish to the dip compliment the taste of the calamari so well. Their Greek salad is divine. They even give you a free pita starter for your meal. And it's also delicious!
  
  Ah! I genuinely love all the food here. It's all just so good.
  
  (And I love the little different mint candies they give you at the end of the meal. The cinnamon one is my favourite.)

  Little place with good service and great choices of traditional food. Lunch specials daily. Got the calamari torkutoferi dip and a chicken pork combo sulvaki (sp?)
